The Medical Advisory Board is based in Curacao. This is an independent board, which aims to give advice to Dokteronline. In this way it is ensured that our visitors of the platform Dokteronline is well informed and helped. In this role you will also give advice on procedures for the cooperating doctors and pharmacies to reduce risks for our customers. The Medical Advisory Board consists of five members: the chairman, a pharmacist, two doctors and this role. Once a quarter there is a meeting with the total MAR. In addition, you assist in organizing the annual physician day, a time of networking and knowledge sharing. This role is strongly advisory to the Medical Framework and MT of eHealth Ventures Group. Your main stakeholders are the physicians, the COO, CEO and the director of eMedvertise.

What will you do?

  • You will maintain operational contact between the physicians and pharmacies. If necessary, you discuss substantive cases with them.
  • You are responsible for checking various cases. Here you can think of rejected or approved orders, which are delivered by eMedvertise for review or discussion;
  • You check anamneses and questionnaires of new products and doctors’ invoices;
  • You provide copy prescriptions to the Customer Success Team upon customer request;
  • You are the point of contact from a medical perspective for questions;
  • Together with the Category Manager, you will also be involved in optimizing the current products offered on Dokteronline.

What do we expect from you?

  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze medical data, be able to critically evaluate and make evidence-based recommendations;
  • Communication skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate medical information clearly and understandably to non-medical stakeholders;
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with colleagues, other medical professionals and stakeholders within and outside the organization;
  • Research skills: Ability to conduct medical research, review literature and stay informed about new developments in the field;
  • Leadership skills: Experience in supervising a medical teams is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, treatment protocols and current medical developments.
  • Medical knowledge: Broad knowledge of medication, aware of trends in the medical world and can give advice on medication
  • You graduated as a pharmacy assistant (MBO 4) or equivalent.
  • Practical experience as a medical professional.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
