Breinfijn helps people find peace and balance in their head and body. We offer scientifically based online programs and training courses for complaints such as stress, anxiety, panic, worrying and fatigue. Our team of psychologists and therapists combines insights from neuropsychology and physiology with years of practical experience.

Seemee-no pause focuses specifically on menopausal women and provides them with support, information and solutions to better understand and address the challenges of menopause. By paying attention to a phase that is often understudied, we help women take control of their health and well-being.

Your tasks and responsibility

As Legal Counsel at EHVG, you play a crucial role in ensuring our legal compliance and supporting our growth in Europe and beyond. In this part-time position (3 days a week), you are the point of contact for all legal issues within our organization. From testing laws and regulations in various European countries to drafting strategic contracts, your expertise keeps us sharp and up to date.

With our services, we are active in a highly regulated business. It is therefore important that you have experience working in regulated sectors. Preferably, you have a compliance background and an affinity for e-health, e-commerce and/or life science. In this role, you contribute to the business and website flows, based on your knowledge of European laws and regulations. You make risk assessments and think in terms of possibilities, are, so to speak, our legal compass. It is important that you stand firm and are able to counterbalance. Especially when there is a tension between commercial opportunities and legal restrictions. The legal counsel is really a business driver at EHVG.

You research, monitor and interpret European and national legislation that applies to our activities in (currently) 15 countries. You advise on legal risks and opportunities, including identifying opportunities within the legal frameworks. Your range of tasks also includes drafting and reviewing various agreements (shareholders' agreements, privacy statements, cooperation agreements, intercompany agreements, etc.). You answer legal questions from internal stakeholders and offer practical solutions to complex issues. In addition, you monitor corporate governance and partly also fulfill the role of compliance officer.

In this versatile role, you are a researcher, advisor, source of information and pragmatic problem solver. You are the colleague to whom you can go with legal issues in the broadest sense of the word. You take it up expeditiously and work with external advisors and specialists if necessary.

We started with a handful of people at our office near Breda and are proud to now operate with a team of over 65 people in 15 countries, with offices in Breda and Curaçao.
